Yes, scientists are trying to launch a “space umbrella” the size of Argentina in order to block Earth from the sun’s rays and reduce warming by 2.7 degrees in two years. Climate scientists want to stop global warming, and some of the ideas being suggested by scientists are really interesting. The proposed “umbrella” could cost $20 million for the prototype of 100 square feet and will sit more than 9 million miles from Earth. Are they being serious?
