It’s been more than two decades since the first whistleblowers came forward with evidence that the Chinese communist regime has been murdering Falun Gong practitioners on an industrial scale for their organs. In the years since, a substantial body of evidence has confirmed that the Chinese Communist Party operates a macabre state-run system—involving security forces, military hospitals, and civilian transplant centers—to forcibly harvest organs from living prisoners of conscience, primarily Falun Gong practitioners, but increasingly also other groups including Uyghur Muslims in Xinjiang.

Join Nina Shea, Hudson Institute senior fellow and director of the Center for Religious Freedom, in conversation with Jan Jekielek, senior editor of the Epoch Times and author of the new book “Killed to Order,” to understand this ongoing atrocity. They will explore how and why forced organ harvesting has managed to not just persist, but expand in China, key findings from decades of in-depth research, and the complicity of global supply chains and medical institutions. The discussion will conclude with proposed policy responses.
