Over the past few days the media has rewritten the life and legacy of George H.W. Bush as one of a peaceful man who sought peace at every turn and was, as many are calling him, a dove. But the reality of Bush’s legacy is far from peaceful. Being mild-mannered does not make one a “man of peace”.
