“For Coey” and “I Am A Child of God” – Monica Scott

Monica Scott wrote her son “For Coey” as a beautiful tribute, which she performed at the funeral of a little boy who passed away after battling cancer. Monica came to Mormon Channel Studio to perform the song with the help of cellist Sarah Arnesen.

After her friend requested a special performance at the funeral, Monica prayed for help and inspiration from God.

“The next day, this little melody came,” she says.
