Simon the Sorcerer was super popular with his Samaritan buddies but he was also impressed by the Holy Spirit, so he got baptized and then offered Peter cash in exchange for the power of the Holy Spirit. Everything had been going great, but right when he said that the whole room got really quiet and even the old guy at the saloon piano stopped playing and turned to glare at him. Peter wasn’t charmed and gave Simon an A+ reaming.
