Philip talked about Jesus with the hated Samaritans, and, to just about everyone’s surprise, they liked it. Among them was a sorcerer named Simon. You read that correctly, his job was sorcery. What sorcery is this? We’ll take a good chunk of this episode to explore that question.
Simon decides that God has cool powers he lacks so he tries to buy miraculous abilities from Peter.
Peter isn’t impressed, but Simon’s weirdness doesn’t ruin the otherwise beautiful event.
