Most expectant mothers typically incorporate prenatal vitamins into their pregnancy routine.

But under certain conditions, a woman may have to be careful about the dosage of folic acid present in these supplements.

In this episode, Dr. Jingduan Yang discusses what factors during pregnancy are associated with the development of autism and what women can do to improve their pregnancy outcomes.

Dr. Yang is a psychiatrist and a fifth-generation practitioner of traditional Chinese medicine. He runs the Yang Institute of Integrative Medicine in Philadelphia where his team has been successfully improving the symptoms of patients on the autism spectrum.
