The Department of Justice has faced criticism after quietly removing sections related to child sex trafficking from its website without providing an explanation. The original webpage, which had remained unchanged since May 28, 2020, included sections addressing various aspects of child sex trafficking. However, the updated website removed sections related to international and domestic sex trafficking of minors and to child victims of prostitution.
