On May 30, MPD Officer Jamal Mitchell was fatally shot in the line of duty. He was posthumously awarded the department’s two highest honors, the Medal of Honor and the Purple Heart. He leaves behind a fiancée and four children. This video shows scenes from his Memorial Service.
