First LDS Polygamist: Joseph or Brigham?

Reconsidering the LDS Church’s established narrative on polygamy.

Credible evidence (documented statements from Joseph, Emma, Hyrum, and others) indicates that it may have been Brigham, and not Joseph, who introduced polygamy to the LDS Church and that historical records were later changed to misrepresent Joseph’s teachings on polygamy.
