Gina Carano, a former fighter in the UFC turned professional actress, has teamed up with the world’s richest man, Elon Musk, to file a massive lawsuit against Disney.
In August 2023, Mr. Musk posted the following announcement on his Twitter page:“If you were unfairly treated by your employer due to posting or liking something on this platform, we will fund your legal bill. No limit. Please let us know.”
Among the tens of thousands of people who responded to this announcement was Ms. Carano. She responded to his call for submissions, and eventually, the lawyers who were hired by Mr. Musk reached out to Ms. Carano and are now pursuing her case.
