“La Cigarra”, “La Malagueña”, “La Petenera” and “Señor, yo te seguiré” – Trio Los Charros

Mariachi band Trio Los Charros visit the studio to record several of their favorite songs. All three of the band members have roots in Mexico and so do the songs they perform: “La Malagueña,” “La Petenera,” and “La Cigarra.”

Following their medley, the band shares their rendition of the spiritually focused song “”Señor, yo te seguiré.”” In English, this hymn is called “Lord, I Would Follow Thee.”

“It talks about reaching out to your neighbor, to your brothers in need, and emulating the example of the Savior that way,” one band member explains.
