LIVE: NTSB Talks About the Newly Released Preliminary Report on East Palestine Derailment

The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) released its preliminary report on Feb. 23 on its investigation into the Feb. 3 Norfolk Southern freight train derailment in East Palestine, Ohio.

NTSB Chair Jennifer Homendy and Robert J. Hall, director of the NTSB’s Office of Railroad, Pipeline, and Hazardous Materials, will hold a media availability at 1:00 p.m. ET on Feb. 23 to discuss factual information from the investigation and rail safety.
