The court viewed a redacted recorded interview with Robinson’s former roommate, Lance Twiggs, who told investigators Robinson appeared to confess to the killing, expressed regret afterward, and was identified in surveillance images shown during the investigation. Prosecutors also introduced text messages, a handwritten letter, and additional digital evidence they argue corroborate Twiggs’ account and tie Robinson to the murder. Throughout the day, defense attorneys challenged the admissibility, reliability, and interpretation of that evidence, arguing it should not be used to establish probable cause.

On the fifth and final scheduled day of the preliminary hearing, prosecutors are expected to wrap up their case before the defense makes its final challenges to the state’s evidence. Judge Tony Graf will not issue an immediate ruling but will later decide whether prosecutors have established probable cause to send Robinson to trial on aggravated murder and related charges.
