Long Range Shooting @ Steel – 754 yards; 308 Sniper ballistic Crack

Another experiment for sound, just to see the distance in sound on bullets vs the rifle report. This was shot at a full 754 yards (as far as we could get) and measured by Magellan Triton GPS and confirmed by Nikon 1600 Range Finder. Rifle used was a Remington 700VS in 308 with custom loads – 168 grains of Nosler HPBT backed by 46 grains of Varget. Sorry that I didn’t zoom in to the shooting bench, it was so far away there was no point… But do notice that this was a measured 20 MPH wind, had to holdover of 1 mil (appx 5 feet @ 750 yards). Drop was about 12 feet.
