Bill Welsh is the senior pastor at the Refuge Calvary Chapel in Huntington Beach, California. A few years ago, he called into Larry Elder’s radio show and talked about an incident back in the 1990s when his family lived in Australia, and his young teenage son was caught shoplifting. Welsh again talks about that moment in his life, along with his own struggles with drugs and other issues as a teen after his parents got divorced and his older brother died, and finally when he came back to the church and felt called to become a pastor.
