“Place of Healing” & “EFY Medley: As Sisters In Zion/ We’ll Bring the World His Truth”

Michael R. Hicks’ award-winning music is performed around the world by small church choirs and famed country stars alike. Michael stopped by Mormon Channel Studio to play two of his most special songs.

The first is an medley of the hymns As Sisters in Zion and We’ll Bring the World His Truth. Michael composed it in 1999 and it became the theme of that year’s Especially For Youth (EFY) events.

Michael enlisted his father to play bassoon in his second song, “Place of Healing.”

“This was a song I wrote as a dedication to places that we can go to and find communion with the Lord, find peace, and find healing,” he explained.
