Project Veritas Investigates: Inside Gavin Newsom’s Billion-Dollar Homeless Housing Experiment

Project Veritas went inside one of California’s most expensive taxpayer funded Homekey properties on Pico Avenue to find out what life is really like behind the doors of Gavin Newsom’s billion dollar homeless experiment.

Our investigator spoke directly with multiple residents who described a disturbing reality, including suicides, fires and alleged arson, rampant drug use, crime, and repeated emergency responses.

Records reviewed by Project Veritas show approximately 1,200 calls for service associated with the property over a two year period.

California has poured billions of taxpayer dollars into Homekey, purchasing and converting hotels and other properties into housing for people experiencing homelessness. But after the ribbon cuttings and government press releases, what actually happened inside?

We went directly to the people living there.

Their accounts raise a bigger question. Is California solving homelessness, or spending billions of taxpayer dollars to warehouse its symptoms while ignoring the true causes?
