Returning Early from a Mission

Jake was eagerly planning to serve as a full-time missionary in South Carolina for two years, but things don’t always go according to plan.

When he entered the Missionary Training Center, Jake was hit with a wave of doubts and depression. When he decided to return home, he found himself wondering what he could have done to prevent this from happening. Over time, he realized that God wasn’t asking that question.

“What God asks us is, ‘How are you going to get up and move on? How are you going to become a better person? Are you willing to let Me in to help you through this process?’ If we can just answer yes… we can be lifted to such unimaginable heights.”
