It’s official: The Supreme Court has overturned Roe v. Wade in one of its biggest decisions in decades. Some Americans mourn while others are celebrating.

At least 13 states are making the abortion ban effective immediately or soon. While Republicans are hailing the victory, Democrats say the fight is not over.

We also have reactions from lawmakers on Capitol Hill. They break down the constitutional implications and voice their concerns about how undermining the process can have lasting effects on our way of life.

The House and Senate passed major gun legislation and sent it to President Joe Biden for his signature. While the bill restricting gun rights garnered bipartisan support, there are serious concerns that gun owners may lose their constitutional rights.
