NASA has been tasked with the groundbreaking mission of creating a standard time zone for the moon, because who knew lunar jet lag was a thing? Apparently, coordinating moon landing schedules and space selfies just can’t be left to chance. Of course, the same clock on Earth ticks differently up there, because why should space be any less complicated than quantum physics or assembling IKEA furniture? Meanwhile, the White House has directed NASA to develop this unified lunar time standard by the end of 2026, because clearly, we’ve already solved all earthly problems like immigration and inflation. So does this mean we need to start celebrating Lunar New Year on a different day too?
