Kendi, and after this clip, it makes sense why this was released VERY quietly and there was no promotion from ESPN. In one of the episodes, Olympian Gwendolyn Berry claims, “Athletes are literally the new slaves,” and she continued, “It’s almost like the contract is the new slave chains.” Why is ESPN+ releasing this series?
