Police Pull Man Out of Frigid Lake After Suspect Ran from Officers

As officers were conducting a traffic stop on a vehicle, on January 24, in Virginia Beach, VA, a man fled from the car, into the woods leading authorities to give pursuit. Upon realizing the man ended up caught in a lake in freezing temperatures, officers conducted a rescue operation and pulled the suspect to safety. The suspect was treated for exposure to the cold, then taken into police custody for 2 outstanding warrants.
