Virginia Board Members Heard This Man’s Plea and Still Voted to Raise His Property Taxes

A resident of Warren County, Virginia, pleaded with Board of Supervisor members not to raise his property taxes, stating that he has less than $1 in his bank account, but the county board voted to massively increase his property taxes anyway, by over 18%. The board passed the massive property tax increase in a 3 to 2 vote, with Cheryl Cullers, Tony Carter, and Hugh Henry voting for the tax increase, and John Stanmeyer and Richard Jamieson voting against it. #original #shorts
