The Whole Beach Held Its Breath

A teen lifeguard rushed into rough surf to rescue a struggling 10-year-old at Seabright Beach in Santa Cruz as fellow lifeguards and bystanders joined the effort. The child was evaluated by paramedics and reunited with their parents.
