Why Jamaicans HATE Socialism

@WinsomeSears says Jamaica learned the hard way what happens when a country chooses “democratic socialism.” After the government nationalized industries, seized private property, and drove companies out, the country was left without foreign currency, without an economic plan, and without opportunity. Even the prime minister who pushed it later apologized for the wreckage. Why do so many Americans keep flirting with an idea that has failed all over the world?
