Hospital CEO Raises Alarm on STAGGERING Migrant Healthcare Costs

“Migrant patients are receiving free care,” Dr. Robert Trenschel, president and CEO of the primary hospital in Yuma, Arizona, testified this week. “They have no ability to pay.” Trenschel warned members of Congress the hospital has been overrun by migrants and that it can not afford to continue providing what he said has amounted to tens of millions of dollars in unpaid medical care.
