WOW! Officer Clings to Car Hood to Prevent Escaping Suspect in Incident That Leads to Conviction

Newly released bodycam footage from an incident that occurred in March 2021 shows a police officer clinging to a car hood as a suspect attempts to escape a traffic stop. The officer was eventually flung off the vehicle, resulting in a broken back and almost a year of recovery time. The suspect, 29-year old Dennis Guider, Jr., was sentenced to five years in prison on May 11.
