Storms, Surfing, and Sand Swirls — Eastern Floridians Weather Hurricane Idalia’s Outer Bands

While the western coast of Florida was pummeled directly by Hurricane Idalia, residents on the eastern coast observed the outer bands of the storm in typical Floridian fashion by surfing in the stormy waters and ambling on the beach.
