Acting USCBP Commissioner Mark Morgan: Economic Reasons ‘Overwhelming Pull Factor’ For Immigration

During a Customs and Border Protection Oversight meeting on Thursday, Acting Commissioner of U.S. Customs and Border Protection Mark Morgan spoke on the necessity of Congress to pass legislation to reduce incentives for illegal immigration: “There’s more incentives though than just the jobs. I mean, the incentives that once they get here they know that they are going to be able to stay here and remain. We have so many loopholes in our system.”
