At the Grammys, singer Billie Eilish criticized ICE and declared, “No one is illegal on stolen land.” So Franklin Camargo headed to UCLA to ask students a simple question: If America is “stolen land,” should celebrities—including Eilish—return their property to Native tribes like the Tongva? And if she’s a hypocrite for not doing so, what about the students attending a university built on land once inhabited by indigenous peoples?
