A massive crowd breaches security barriers at New York’s Electric Zoo festival after it reaches capacity due to unforeseen circumstances.

A Pierce County Sheriff’s Department deputy in Washington found a very interesting way to flush some suspects out of hiding. After pursuing a group of suspects on foot, the deputy warned the group that he would release a police dog on them. The deputy then started “barking,” flushing the suspects out of hiding.

“POOL’S CLOSED!” Police in Ware, Massachusetts, on August 25 tangled with an interesting aquatic trespasser when they found a young deer trapped in a pool. The police helped the young “buck” escape into the woods safely.

Those Aren’t Deer? A celebration was held as the Chicago Zoological Society’s Brookfield Zoo recently announced the birth of a 14 pound nyala antelope calf. The population of the species is reportedly stable, but is still threatened by things such as hunting and cattle grazing.
