Crowds gathered in front of Rome’s historic Trevi Fountain booed climate protesters after they released a black substance into the waters of the historic fountain Sunday. The protesters were hauled out and arrested. The crowd erupted into cheers after the fountain was cleaned and reopened later that day.

CRISIS AVERTED: A 6-month-old baby was safely retrieved, seemingly uninjured, after being kidnapped during a car theft in Fort Worth, Texas. The suspect, who had jumped into the mother’s car and drove away, faces charges of kidnapping, abandoning/endangering a child, and auto theft.
