Chip Roy Destroys the SPLC: How Many Extreme Islamist Groups Are on Your “Hate Map?”

Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) called out the Southern Poverty Law Center for putting the Christian Family Research Council on their “hate map” for anti-LGBTQ stances, but not radical Islamist groups who are not supportive of LGBTQ views. “So you think there’s a bunch of Islamic groups that a pro-LGBTQ? That’s the position of the SPLC?” he asked, eliciting laughter in the room.
