New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) at his Tuesday press briefing said “New York City was looted” by people who were co-opting legitimate protests of George Floyd’s death in Minneapolis. “These looters destroyed businesses that were essential to the community and the very people we’re trying to help,” he lamented.
