DC Journo Thinks Trump Was Being Literal When He Called Americans ‘Warriors’




“[The American people] are warriors because they stayed home. They’re warriors because they social distanced. They’re warriors because this mitigation effort is something that could only be done by the American people coming together and making really hard sacrifices,” said White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany, responding to a journalist’s question on whether calling citizens “warriors” was a way for the administration to ask citizens to put themselves at risk.
