Everybody Scatter! Illegals Bail as Officers Catch Human Smuggler Who Admits Trafficking Operation

Alleged human smuggler Jose Alvarez Pineda, an illegal immigrant from El Salvador living in Oxford, Pennsylvania, led officers on a high speed chase, dropping off what looked to be about 6 illegal immigrants while fleeing police in Kinney County, Texas. Once officers used a PIT maneuver to stop his vehicle, the suspect told police that he was going to receive $2500 per person for every illegal immigrant he could smuggle and his 16-year-old passenger would receive $3000 for assisting the smuggler.
