The Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office saved a woman from a life-threatening situation near Hilmar, California, on Sunday when they received a call from her son saying the father of one of his mother’s children was trying to kill her. The deputies caught up to the kidnapper at the Hills Ferry Bridge and negotiated her release and arrested the man.
