“I Can’t Feel My Legs”: Deputy Gets Emergency Treatment After Fentanyl Exposure During Traffic Stop
A Flagler County Sheriff’s Office deputy received emergency medical treatment after being exposed to fentanyl during a traffic stop in Florida on August 10. The deputy became ill after testing suspected narcotics found during a search and had to receive two doses of Narcan before being transported to a local emergency room for treatment. The driver in the stop was arrested on suspicion of DUI and multiple drug charges.
