IRONIC: Smoke Alarm Still Chirping in Ruins of Building that Caught Fire

The Chicago Fire Department released footage of a smoke alarm that was still going off following a fire on July 31. The CFD reported that the alarm woke one of the residents who was then able to get two other individuals out of the building. “Please get and use detectors,” they wrote on Twitter.
