LARGEST Active Volcano ON EARTH Stains Sky Red During First Eruption Since 1984

“A CURTAIN OF FIRE” — Footage shows the largest active volcano on earth, Mauna Loa, erupting in Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park late Sunday evening after almost 40 years of no eruptions. Hawaii’s Big Island is under an ashfall advisory beginning early Monday morning, but as the volcano spews lava, ash, and other debris, the downslope communities are currently under no threat of lava flows.
