Larry Elder: I Have a Patriotic, Religious, and Moral Obligation to Do What I Can for this Country

“I’m the only one in my family who never served, and I’ve never felt good about that,” Larry Elder told the audience at Joni Ernst’s Roast and Ride event in Des Moines, Iowa, while recounting the military service of his family members. He stated that he was running for president because “I have a patriotic, a religious, and a moral obligation to do what I can for a country that’s been so good to my family and good to me.”
