Man Hits 100 mph in Tesla Before Slamming into Senior Living Center, Killing Teen Passenger
HORRIFIC — On Wednesday, 23-year-old Brooklyn man Jonathan Mikhaylov allegedly lost control of his Tesla while driving at 100 mph, slamming into the wall of an assisted living center. One 18-year-old passenger died from head injuries after being rushed to the hospital. According to officials, the vehicle smashed through a metal fence and two dumpsters before spinning in the air and eventually hitting the center’s wall. Mikhaylov has been indicted on charges including reckless manslaughter and criminally negligent homicide.
