In a speech trying to praise Joe Biden’s leadership for passing the “Inflation Reduction Act” on Tuesday, Nancy Pelosi awkwardly had to tell the audience when they were supposed to applaud. This reminded many of Jeb(!) Bush’s infamously awkward “Please clap” line in the 2016 GOP presidential primary campaign.
