The footage shows several ordinary civilians stepping up to help police rescue two children from a raging inferno that engulfed an apartment building in Mesa, Arizona. One of the men, Jonathon Baez, hopped onto a platform and thrust his body through a window as smoke billowed out around him to rescue a toddler. The man then entered into the apartment and safely delivered a six-year-old child to the police waiting outside and down below.
