Pastor Objects to “Hail Satan” Council Prayer: “That Was a Curse Put on Our City”

Spiritual warfare is REAL, folks! A routine city council meeting in Otumwa, Iowa, exploded in controversy after former city council member Matthew Dalbey was allowed to read an opening prayer to Satan including the phrases “dear dark father,” “let us embrace the luciferian impulse to eat at the tree of knowledge,” and ending with “hail Satan.” Pastor Rick Bick objected afterwards, saying that they needed to “reverse the curse” that was just put on their city.
