Running A-FOWL of the Law! Kansas Sheriff Pardons Turkey After It BREAKS into Home

It was “Tom” the turkey’s lucky day! When the bird broke into a home in Douglas County, Kansas, on November 10, Master Deputy Dunkle and Deputy Bonner quickly drove to the house to apprehend the rogue gobbler. After capturing the bird, Sherrif Jay Armbrister granted the turkey a “pardon” for his crimes and he was released into the wild. Tom is one turkey who has a lot to be thankful for!
