Sen. Murkowski Slams CDC Guidelines: “Crazy” to Force Fishermen to Wear “Soggy Wet Masks” on Boats

“I’ve got commercial fishermen that are out there on the water… that are trying to deal with a mask because they’re concerned about failure to comply. This is more of a safety hazard than anything else. You’re out on a boat. The wind is howling. The mask is soggy wet… Tell me how anybody thinks [CDC’s guideline] is a sane and sound policy,” said Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) Tuesday at a Senate coronavirus hearing.
