Sheriff Arrests Former Police Officer Whom He Hired Years Ago

Sheriff Mike Chitwood of the Volusia Sheriff’s Office led an operation to arrest a former police officer he hired in 2009, who had left the department and became a teacher, but was allegedly involved in the dealing of narcotics, including fentanyl.
