Theme Park Horror: China Locks Down, Temporarily Traps Guests at Shanghai Disneyland

Shanghai’s Disneyland Resort abruptly shut down on Monday in line with local COVID measures. Footage from inside the park shows security controlling large groups of people. Guests were told to stay inside the park until they tested negative for the coronavirus. Authorities said two new cases of coronavirus were recorded in Shanghai that day. “Following the pandemic control measures per government guidelines, Shanghai Disneyland temporarily closed today,” a Disney spokesperson told New York Post. “The COVID testing process was expedited and all guests have exited the park.”
